dates from the sixteenth century. The heart
of the factory, the original stone walls and
vault are preserved from this period. The
machines and parts, which can be seen in
the pictures, are placed 200 years ago.
They create the `new` factory, which until
15 years ago, has fully functioned on water
energy. The building has two floors. The
water was received on the ground floor in a
pulley to put the turbines to rotate. These
mills were responsible for the grinding of
various kinds of flour, each day about 5.000
kg. Upstairs wheat was cleaned, soaked
and ground. After that the grids were placed
in big boxes of wood to be naturally cleaned
and dried. There is a little house located
next to the factory, overlooking the water of
the river. Here the wheat was stored before
being stored in large paper bags.
